Featuring loads of pink Himalayan salt, one of the purest salts on the earth and rich in minerals from the Himalayan foothills, this mega, 8-9 ounce bar will leave your skin soft and remineralized. I used a larger salt grain for this bar, so it has a texture and beauty like no other! It will feel crumbly and hard at first, but as you use it, it will be a rock solid bar, perfect by the sink for washing hands. It makes a natural antibacterial soap due to the nature of the salt as well as the essential oil combination that includes eucalyptus. This is a scrubby bar, best suited for hands and feet. DO NOT rub directly on your body, or on softer skin tissue. Use a luffa, sponge or cloth to apply to your body.
This bar also contains a generous portion of unrefined shea nut butter, adding a creamy luxuriousness.
Another excellent way to use this bar and get its full benefits is to take it into a bath. Gently let some of the bar dissolve in the water, and the salts will naturally cleanse, soften and mineralize your water and your skin. Please note that if you have skin wounds, while the salt makes an excellent natural healing agent, it will sting. This is a scrubby bar, best suited for hands and feet. Don’t rub directly (or too hard) on softer skin tissue.

I stumbled on AVN site several years ago while looking for a natural shampoo bar. I absolutely love their soaps! I loved the shampoo bars but bar shampoo was just not for me, personally. I do love this salt bar. It is very luxurious and gentle yet exfoliating. I love that there is no added scented oils or fragrant but just the salt and butters. You will not regret getting this. If you don’t know which one to get- get this one.

This is a lovely bath bar that I have ordered several times. After a hard days work it is a welcome treat to use this bar in a nice warm bath. The salt is good for the skin. But also is exfoliating. I feel like I am in a spa. Keep up the good work AVNS!

My favorite bar from the salt bars. I use it to soak in the bath to detox. I love that it has a peppermint smell to it.
I like to use this bar for scrubbing the dirt and stains off my hands and feet after gardening. It gets the job done well and smells better than a plain old pumice stone.
