Hand-Dipped Beeswax Taper Candles

Meticulously crafted, these all natural, hand-dipped beeswax taper candles emit a beautiful honey scent and are the perfect addition to any decor.
The standard taper candles are dipped over twenty times for a classic taper form, they are designed to burn virtually dripless and provide one hour of light per inch when kept out of drafts. The perfect candles for seasonal displays and celebrations.

The thin taper candles are slender and tall, hand-dipped in 100% pure beeswax and measure 1/2″ at the base and 12″ in total length. These narrow candlesticks are perfect for meditation, prayer, reflection and ceremony. Sold in bundles of 5 pairs which equals 10 thin taper candles. Burn time: 6 hours per candle, 30 min per inch.

• The standard taper candles fit in the vast majority of candlestick holders. Beeswax is also wonderfully malleable. If your taper is a hair narrow, simply warm the base over a flame and the molten wax will secure the taper in place. If the taper candle is a touch wide, gently press and twist into place.
• The thin taper candles can also be used in standard taper holders. Simply warm the base of the candle over a flame and use the softened wax to tack the candle securely in place.
• To prevent dripping, keep away from open windows, fans or excessive airflow of any kind and place your hand behind flame when blowing out.
• Another trick to prevent dripping is to NOT trim the burnt wick before re-lighting! The long curled wick that you find should just be lit as is. Please note, this is different than all other candle styles that do benefit from regular wick trimming.
• We have consciously chosen not to include chemical preservatives in these candles, which means that some of the lighter colors in particular may shift, subtly over time/ if exposed to sustained UV
• To minimize smoking use a snuffer to extinguish flame.
